Low-Wattage Lamp for Runway, Taxiway, and Obstruction Lighting

The 30W 6.6A P28s is the lowest wattage lamp in the P28s prefocus family. It is used in elevated runway edge lights, taxiway edge lights, and obstruction lighting fixtures where lower intensity is sufficient or specified by the lighting design.

The 7669H halogen variant delivers 450 lumens with a rated life of 2,000 hours — double the life of the conventional incandescent equivalent. For airports with limited maintenance resources, this reduces lamp change frequency and total cost of ownership.
